Connect to Careers is equipped with a program manager to work with aged-out youth and those in the city's Fostering Futures program. We work on five goals with them to pursue independent living: getting a transportation plan, building interview skills, polishing resumes, securing a housing plan, and additional education and job training. We help out in lots of ways, from resume writing workshops and financial literacy courses to driver's license help and exclusive job fairs. And it's all focused especially to those in foster care. Connect to Careers will also soon service our affordable bridge housing, providing these services and more to residents.
